Fashion Week just started and there are already some great pieces appearing. We will have to wait a day for the rest of the shows to finish, but here are my picks so far. Enjoy!

Christian Siriano is always amazing with his designs. I love the belted pieces, however, I am not inspired by his fabric prints. I'm loving the camel leather dress and the red python v-neck dress above.

Bensoni
I adore the flowing skirts from Bensoni, but I will pass on the pigtail braids for fear of looking like Pippi Longstocking. Bensoni is a fairly new label made up of Benjamin Channing and Sonia Yoon. They won the Parsons' "Designer of the Year" award and apprenticed for Brioni and Armani.

Peter Som
Peter Som's colorful prints have to be my favorite for this year. He is an incredible designer who worked under Michael Kors and Calvin Klein before debuting his own line in Fall 1999. I'm loving the flower detail on the bright turquoise summer coat. So cheerful!

Ruffian
Well, I guess I can now say that belted Spring jackets are the ticket. I love how Ruffian used military influence, but didn't include it in every piece of the collection. The blue Moroccan print is beautiful! The Ruffian line was created by Brian Wolk and Claude Morais and have been featured in Vogue and WWD.
